What it does

Siteward Child exposes one secure, signed REST endpoint so your Siteward dashboard can read update status, UpdraftPlus backups and site health, apply updates, and activate, deactivate or uninstall plugins. The dashboard always initiates the traffic, this plugin never calls out on its own, and it does nothing until paired with your dashboard.

How to install

  1. On the site you want to manage, go to Plugins → Add New and search for Siteward Child.
  2. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  3. Open Settings → Siteward Connection and copy the site.s REST URL and its one-time connection key.
  4. In your Siteward dashboard, open Add Site and paste the key.

It’s free and GPL: no licence key, no sign-up, and no limit on how many sites you connect. Updates arrive through WordPress.org like any other plugin.
