Terms of Service

The terms for using Omnis and the omniswp.com website.

Last updated: 24 June 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the omniswp.com website and the Omnis software provided by Life Ring (“we”, “us”), based in New Zealand. By using the site or the software, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

2. What Omnis is

Omnis is a pair of self-hosted WordPress plugins — the Omnis Dashboard (installed on one central site) and the Omnis Child (installed on each managed site) — for monitoring and managing many WordPress sites. There is a free version and paid plans (Agency and Lifetime) that unlock additional features and support.

3. Licenses

The Omnis plugins are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), consistent with WordPress. Your paid plan provides a license key that entitles you to Pro features, automatic updates and support for the applicable term, across unlimited sites you manage. You agree not to share, resell or publicly distribute your license key. We may suspend a key that is abused or used fraudulently.

4. Payments & billing

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, whose checkout terms also apply. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude taxes, which Lemon Squeezy calculates and collects where required. The Agency plan is a recurring annual subscription that renews until cancelled; the Lifetime plan is a one-time payment. You can manage or cancel your subscription via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

5. Refunds

We want you to be happy with Omnis. If something isn’t right, email jason@lifering.co.nz within 14 days of your purchase and we’ll work with you on a refund. Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms may also apply.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Omnis lawfully and not to misuse the website or software — including no reverse-engineering of our licensing in order to bypass it, no distribution of license keys, and no use that harms others or breaches applicable law.

7. Your responsibilities (self-hosted)

Because Omnis is self-hosted, you are responsible for your own servers, backups, security and the sites you connect. You should test updates and keep your own backups. Omnis surfaces information and automates tasks, but you remain responsible for changes made to your sites.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The website and software are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will prevent every outage, error or data loss.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Ring will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the website or software. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law (such as the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, where it applies).

10. Updates & support

Active paid plans include software updates and support for the plan’s term. We may change, add or remove features over time. Free users receive core functionality without guaranteed support.

11. Termination

You may stop using Omnis at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and liability limits) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
