How Omnis collects, uses and protects your information.

1. Who we are
Omnis is a WordPress fleet-management product operated by Life Ring (“we”, “us”), based in New Zealand. For any privacy question or request, contact jason@lifering.co.nz. We are the data controller for personal information processed through this website.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you submit the “Suggest a feature” form or email us, we receive the details you provide (such as your name, email address and message).
- Purchase information. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as Merchant of Record. They handle your payment details; we receive limited order information (for example name, email, product purchased and country for tax). We never see or store full card details.
- Usage & analytics data. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location, device and browser, and referring source. Analytics does not run until you accept cookies.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs (such as IP address and request data) for security and reliability.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent via our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to change your choice.
4. How we use your information
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To respond to your enquiries and feature suggestions.
- To process and support purchases and licenses.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)
We rely on: your consent (for analytics cookies); our legitimate interests (running and securing the site, responding to you); performance of a contract (fulfilling and supporting purchases); and legal obligation where applicable. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights”).
6. Sharing & third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the site, including:
- Google (Google Analytics) — website analytics.
- Lemon Squeezy — payments, billing and license delivery (Merchant of Record).
- Gravity Forms and our hosting provider — form handling and site hosting.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers (for example Google and Lemon Squeezy) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Data retention
We keep analytics data for the period configured in Google Analytics (up to 14 months by default), and correspondence and order records for as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal requirements.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you may request to know or delete your information and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — note we do not sell personal information. 10. Children
This website and Omnis are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
